AN AUDIT OF STRATEGY - ADRIANA COAUTHORS AN ARTICLE FOR THE INTERNAL AUDITOR MAGAZINE
"Together with Matej Drašček and Gavin Lawrie, Adriana published an article on auditing strategy in the Internal Auditor Magazine. Despite the growing importance of strategy, internal auditors still lack the tools and methodologies to audit strategy development and implementation. The article talks about four steps that can help internal auditors ensure an effective strategic management process, the backbone of organizational success.

Adriana speaking about Social Impact Measurement at a CSR Europe webinar
"Adriana has been recently invited to speak at a CSR Europe webinar "Social Impact Assessment: Challenges and Existing Models". The even took place on 21st February 2018, 15:00-16:00 CEST.
The objective of the online webinar was to:
• Explore the challenges of assessing and measuring social impact;
• Provide the audience with useful tools and best practice examples.
Following a short review of CSR Europe activities for 2019, presented by Paula Byrne, Adriana briefly presented her work with Prof. Marc J. Epstein and then discussed the main features and the key elements that allow companies to effectively assess their social impacts. She provided the participants with an indication of methodologies companies can use for social impact assessment and lots of practical examples.
A number of multinational business representatives (from CSR Europe’s network) and national CSR association representatives attended the webinar, mostly CSR managers or sustainability practitioners.

Adriana conducted a workshop at the Sustainable Business Roundtable (SBRT) on April 21, 2016 at ESMT European School of Management and Technology in Berlin. She trained participants from leading European companies how to use methodologies and tools to measure social, environmental and economic impacts. What many believe to be unmeasurable is in fact possible to measure. There is a solid academic foundation for measuring sustainability performance. Social science, economic, and financial analysis techniques provide reasonable estimates for social, environmental, and economic performance.
